Memorial Weekend

The perfectly lined headstones, I have a fixation on lines – anything that stands in perfection. These headstones all stand for something more. They stand for bravery, the honor for country and they stand for selflessness. They tell a story. The story of a Hero. Every Hero has their own unique Story. And every Hero means something to somebody. This is the weekend we recognize those stories, and salute those families of those Heroes, for sacrificing what they love to make sure we stand on Land of Freedom today.

Today, I’m working on my book, I found all these little pieces of papers with quotes and sayings my mother collected over the years of being a Navy Wife. She had plaques hanging all the walls in our home showing the respect and love we had and still have for the Submariners Life.

All these little treasures are keeping me motivated in moving forward with my goal. Find motivation where you can to keep your mindset on your current project.
