Think of all the things in your life that you have been blessed with, there is always something trust me – God packs all of our bags, he would never leave you with NOTHING. Sometimes it takes us peeling back all the layers to get to that one thing that you have been so blessed to have in your life. It could be a person, a place, a gift of humor, a gift of writing, a gift of singing, a gift of just listening.
We were all blessed with gifts.

This is personal for me, I lost my younger brother John in 2016 from complications of kidney failure. He was on the list waiting for a kidney for a few years. He was a volunteer fire fighter and knew the importance of organ donation. He was an organ donor – when he passed the organs that could help others to have a brighter future was the legacy he left behind. John also donated his tissue for further studies of kidney failure, and I’m sure so that his children don’t have to travel down the same road of illness as he did. I miss him everyday, but I am comforted to know that his organ donation has saved lives.

C.J. Walker – America’s First African American Millionaire
I love her Handbook – HAPPINESS and SUCCESS this was written by a black woman in the 1900s when there was not a lot to be happy and feel successful about. I loved that she used her face for marketing her hair products, not someone else’s face – she had a very strong message of who this product was for – no questioning.

Today, go out there in your world and do ONE kind thing for someone, do something for someone that cannot repay you – but you can watch that ONE thing have a forward motion to a place you never could imagine for yourself. I know this works, I did it myself a few years ago. During this past summer I got to hear and see what my ONE thing of kindness did for someone . . . That was the biggest payday I had ever received in my life No Cash or Check involved!
