1960s It Was All About Sit-Ins, Taking-a-Seat on various issues of the times . . .
My brother and I had our seats sitting in front of the TV to watch cartoons every weekend, until we hear the bellowing of her voice from the kitchen “turn off that TV and get your asses outside”. Oh how I miss those days – MADE to go outside – TURN OFF the TV – SPEND time together.
Crazy concept . . . right?
Kidding aside we need this kind of weekends again, our children need this kind of weekends – FUN – NO STRESS – JUST BEING A KID.
. . . Let’s bring back the fun!!
