It’s with great sadness to say that my father-in-law has passed away. He was always working with his hands. He had beautiful gardens that attracted the most musical birds to the yard. He grew the biggest kale I have ever seen or seen since – it was delicious! He grew figs, fruit, vegetables and had pretty colorful plants and flowers around the home that he and my mother-in-law cultivated and cared for.

It’s always the little things that you miss when your “family landscape” starts to change. As I was going through just some of my collection of pictures – I realize I miss when the girls were young and we would all gather at my in-laws on Christmas Eve Evening. The girls would be full of wonder, they would hear the Santa bells from outside, some ran to the window to look out and some would run and hide! My father-in-law loved the holidays, I would catch glimpses of him watching the girls dance around the house as he smiled. He would be trying to tell them to “settle down” with his deep Portuguese accent but would tease them to get them running around again.

My father-in-law Henrique Camacho (AKA Pai, avo), will be truly missed by his familia XO

Bungalow Apartment organize and clean

Cleaning is one of the most tiresome chores that one needs to do on a regular basis.  You may wish to have a sparkling apartment that always looks as though it has just been renovated, but, most of the time, it remains only a fantasy as you find it very difficult to decide where to start cleaning. You may start the cleaning process, but, other obligations get in the way, at the end no matter how hard you try- things still look the same. So, what should you do in order to keep your apartment clean and presentable or to get ALL your deposit returned to you with your Apartment Move-Out Procedure?

Well, I have an idea . . . Hire CC Home Concierge Company

Apartment cleaning prices are based on one-time cleans like a vacant apartment or move-out cleaning. What Can I Do For You?

professional-organizer-Livingroom

What is a Professional Organizer?

A professional organizer is more than someone who has a knack for cleaning. According to the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), organizers use their expertise and tested principles to create custom systems for their clients. They teach organizing skills that help clients take back control of their environments, tame the paper piles, and keep their lives running smoothly with purpose.

A professional organizer can help with a variety of tasks, including:

  • Closet design
  • Space planning
  • Paperwork management
  • Cross-country, Local moves
  • Life Transitions (Hospital to Home, Home to Assisted Living, etc.)
  • Record management
  • Goal setting
  • Time management

Professional Organizers Can Help Organize & Simplify Your Life

If you’re not sure if a professional organizer is for you, see if any of the following apply to you. You might need a professional organizer when:

  • Your paperwork has overflowed onto your office floor or kitchen countertops.
  • A family member passes away and you suddenly have all of his or her belongings in your home.
  • Your pantry shelves are falling down and the door no longer shuts.
  • You’re moving and you need creative organizational solutions.
  • Your home needs an organizational redesign.
  • You want to be organized, but it never seems to actually get done.
  • You have collections that aren’t being stored or displayed how you want them to be.

A professional organizer is different from a house cleaner – Except here at CCHC, I specialize in cleaning in a logistical method in order to find simple storage solutions as I clean the space. Someone who just cleans your space will come in for a couple of hours, tidy up your things, and then will leave without making decisions about where items are more functional in a space. A professional organizer will come into your home and help create solutions to tackle your immediate organizational problems. Afterward, they will work with you to create long-term strategies so you can achieve success in this area of your space.

If you think a professional organizer can help you create an organize & simplify life contact me today @ (860)961-6824 or cchomeconcierge@gmail.com.

I would be thrilled to help you find clarity in life!

Let’s Be Smart About Starting The School Year Healthy

daycare-center-cleaning

Cleanliness is the #1 importance for a daycare center

These facilities have specific regulations surrounding a variety of cleaning issues. Diaper changing stations, food prep areas, bathrooms, even the toys, and educational activities have cleanliness standards.

To ensure the center meets these standards, it must do so safely. This means not using chemicals dangerous to children, especially given the fact that small children frequently put things in their mouths that do not logically belong there. An inexperienced cleaning crew may inadvertently harm your charges as well as your staff. Always hire a professional cleaning company.

The Unique Challenges in Cleaning Daycare Centers

Babies and toddlers tend to put everything in their mouths. This is natural. When learning, children use all of their senses, including taste.

An additional challenge is the amount of time children spends on the floor of a daycare or preschool. Add this to their tendency to taste everything and the weaker immune system of some children, and you’ll see how quickly airborne illnesses can spread through a childcare center.

Keeping the environment sanitized presents a special challenge since typical cleaning products are incompatible with this environment. This is one of the reasons many professional cleaning companies use “green” materials when cleaning childcare facilities.

Benefits of Outsourcing Cleaning Services

Many daycares choose to outsource their cleaning. Compared to in-house cleaning, a commercial cleaner is often the most economical alternative.

With a commercial cleaner, you do not have to supply the cleaning materials or the equipment. You do not need to worry about people calling in sick, or taking personal leave. A commercial crew has the proper training to ensure your daycare center meets state regulations and the professional equipment to do so efficiently. When you use your in-house staff to complete cleaning, you have the inconvenience of cleaning occurring during business hours, or you’re paying overtime for the employees performing these tasks. You also must pay the salary and benefits of these employees, plus purchase the equipment and cleaning supplies.
