Q: What is a Real Estate Concierge?

A: When I think of a concierge I imagine being taken care of, someone you can go to for help when things are unfamiliar or feeling overwhelmed. I coined the name “Home Concierge” for my Real Estate Concierge service package to evoke that feeling of someone being there to give you support, as well as to showcase the versatility and unique services I provide to real estate professionals.

Q: Who can benefit most from using a Real Estate Concierge?

A: Any realtor or real estate broker who is looking to grow their business, someone who may be strong in all other aspects of their business but doesn’t have an eye for reading a home for a particular market, someone who has a good client base but not enough hours in the day to get things done, or a realtor just starting out that needs a little help in marketing their services.

Q: How is it cost-effective?

A: I think if you look at the overall cost of hiring a full-time assistant, and all the costs associated with one versus contracting me on an as-needed basis you can see the cost-effectiveness pretty easily. I think flexibility is important, and I offer my services by project, monthly retainer, or hourly. There are no commitments and no hidden costs.

Here is how I can help . . . 

  • Confirm that all documentation has the appropriate signature and dates
  • Work closely with the selling agent to retrieve any and all documents needed to close the files
  • Responsible for verifying all properties have been entered into the agent’s system
  • Cleaning & Organization of home, prep/set-up estate sale
  • Errands & Tasks – dry cleaners, shopping, etc.
  • Open homes for Showings, Photography, Open house
  • Pre-Showing set-up: arrange the home for an Open House or Showing to bring out the best features of the home
  • Plan and coordinate open houses, broker tours/launch parties, and other events
  • Home Staging & Redesign service of the space(s)
  • Regularly update and maintain communication with clients, agents, title companies, lenders, etc.
  • Keep track of critical dates and send weekly reminders to the agents as related to real estate project/account
  • Interact with clients and staff in a professional, responsible, reliable, and friendly manner, at all times

Pre-staging a home prior to listing – CC Home Concierge Company works with your client to eliminate clutter and improve the appeal of the home to potential buyers.

Residential organizing before or after a move. Prior to a move, CCHC works with your clients to declutter. This improves the look of the home and saves your clients from paying to move things they don’t need.

A move-in is also a good time to get organized. CCHC helps clients unpack, get organized and back to normal quickly. A CCHC gift certificate makes a nice closing gift. 

Move coordination and project management. We work with busy families and professionals to coordinate and manage the details of their move. We can apply our organizational system for project planning and execution, a high level of customer support and network with local service providers to help clients enjoy a low-stress, on-time move.

Service for special needs. All transitions come with a level of stress. Some can be more stressful than others if they are forced upon you because of an unexpected change of events, death in family or health changes that require moving and downsizing or the closing of estates.

Cleaning is one of the most tiresome chores that one needs to do on a regular basis.  You may wish to have a sparkling apartment that always looks as though it has just been renovated, but, most of the time, it remains only a fantasy as you find it very difficult to decide where to start cleaning. You may start the cleaning process, but, other obligations get in the way, at the end no matter how hard you try- things still look the same. So, what should you do in order to keep your apartment clean and presentable or to get ALL your deposit returned to you with your Apartment Move-Out Procedure?

Apartment Cleaning Prices List

Apartment cleaning prices are based on one-time cleans like a vacant apartment or move-out cleaning. The two most intensive areas for cleaning in an apartment are the kitchen and bathrooms, and the time and effort to clean a bathroom is significantly more than it is to clean a bedroom or a living room, and you’ll see that reflected in my Apartment Cleaning Price List.

Cleaning Service Add-Ons

 Look to see what you can add to your regular clean. Expect to pay:

  • Indoor pets – $5
  • Doing the laundry – $10 to $50
  • Window cleaning – $50
  • Cleaning the insides of the windows – $10
  • Cleaning the fridge – $12
  • Cleaning the interior of the oven – $15
  • Cabinet organization – $50 (depends on the size/amount of cabinets)

*Once you become a member of the CCHC Team a discounted price will be worked into a customized flat cleaning fee for your cleaning needs* 

Apartment Deep-Cleaning Rates Per Hour

In general, average hourly rates for apartment Deep-Cleaning services are $20 to $40 per worker per hour, with many jobs totaling between $80 and $160 (4 hr/clean). Prices depend on the number of rooms and bathrooms, and the extent of the cleaning needed. Some cleaning companies advertising a specific dollar amount for the first three hours – then a different rate for each subsequent hour, the below is the flat rate fee CCHC charge.

Move-Out Cleaning Cost

The average cost of move-out cleaning in an empty apartment is between $127 and $215. Vacant apartment cleaning or move-out cleaning, as it is also known, it’s a deep clean of an empty apartment, and that time is spent doing the best work possible to help renters ensure they get as much of their deposit back as possible – I focus on getting it ALL back!.

I have not been asking myself the usual question I ask at this time of year “Are you ready for 2019?” or setting New Year’s Resolutions. I have been setting intentions for the new year ~ It’s going to be a year of Growth & Passion. This year’s intention:

I stand before limitless possibilities – I will choose to be happy – I am willing to see opportunity for growth in each challenge – I trust that the universe is guiding me down the right path – even if I wander – I have room to grow – I have the ability to let go – to move on – to aspire to be fearless – I will trust the love.

So, there it is, the intention I have set a few weeks ago. When you set an intention, when you commit, the entire universe conspires to make it happen. Intention moves energy. Setting intents is an art. It is not traditional goal-setting. It has been an adventure for me in getting all the details together! When my intents are not manifesting, it is finding out which areas I have missed out on in getting my vibrations up. Universal laws always at work. No doubt about it. If you are resisted to anything you have set in your intention, I’m telling you the universe will NOT give you what you are working towards. I have set some ‘not good’ intentions for myself in the past – Setting intentions in an Art that you need to work at

What Do You Think is the Most Asked Question I Get?

The most asked question I get is

                                           “So, how long will it take to get rid of this stuff?”

 

The answer is so different for everyone. Clutter-Clearing is a calling-you-back-process it’s a process that happens when you clear the clutter in your life. As you free the objects you no longer love or use – you call-back to yourself the parts of your spirit and soul that have been loving and using this object in the past, calling-back the attachment to the emotional need and memories of this object – identifying what it is and then Letting Go of the object. It’s an amazing feeling . . . Being center in your life, making productive decisions from this place of power that you have created from Letting Go & Pressing On!

 

You must make a decision . . . what will you do with this object that you no longer love or use. That’s what life is right? Making decisions, when working with me – we work side-by-side with hands-on coaching to come up with decisions. In doing so, you bring yourself powerfully into the present time. When you have made a decision about this object – your energy no longer is scattered in a thousand different directions, unproductive directions, you become more centered and more focused. You feel spiritually complete and more at peace with yourself – all because you’re getting rid of stuff!

 

This happened with me – I resigned my position in 2014 as a Teacher. In my home office closet, there was a tote that I put together right after I resigned – with all my lesson plans, work samples, projects, etc. When I resigned my position as a Teacher – I felt as though I failed! Having that tote in the corner of the closet, I was always looking at it, making up stories in my head that I was a failure as a Teacher and I believe that’s why I kept the tote of stuff – validation right?

 

After coming home one day from an Organizing Session with a client, I said to myself – I need to practice what I preach. So, I took the tote out of the closet when through the stuff, and kept important things like transcripts, letters, certifications, and my ECE Award, anything that had a positive feel to it. I Took the rest of the books and dropped them off at Goodwill. Now, the only objects in my office closet is being used and loved. I have changed my mindset and the verbage I say to myself about my Teaching career. Now, I have a home office and closet with everything positive and useful that gives me that feeling of  . . . Peace of Mind!

 

All this Peace of Mind! feeling comes from simply clearing clutter – it’s life changing! It amazes me every time when I first met a client that won’t even get rid of a piece of paper that the father had on his desk in 1950s, that stuff that keeps them where they don’t grow anymore – kind of a prisoner in their own past. Then while we’re working and coaching together – I start seeing this blossom of a person that isn’t afraid of letting go, isn’t afraid of the new anymore, ready for anything, finding peace within themself and the place they live in. This can happen for you too, after you become comfortable with Letting go, you find that you bring in less and less of objects that have no use or purpose in your life.
